AI Summary
Most revenue leaders have tried AI in their revenue workflows.
And most will tell you the same thing privately: it didn't hold up.
Recommendations that didn't match what was actually in the account. Agents that offered guidance without understanding what good sounds like in that business. Output generic enough that reps stopped trusting AI, and then stopped using it.
The problem isn't AI capability. It's that AI is only as reliable as the operating system running it: the context it operates on, the execution layer governing how AI agents act, and the surfaces where revenue teams actually do their work.
That's what the Gong Revenue AI OS was built to solve. Mission Big Dipper builds on that foundation in three ways: a deeper execution layer that makes it possible to deploy agents tuned to your specific revenue motions; Gong Assistant embedded where your team already works; and new Gong Enable capabilities that close the gap between what reps prepare and what they're ready for.

Harness AI agents to scale your entire revenue team
The most significant breakthrough of Mission Big Dipper is the Gong Revenue Harness. As the agentic execution layer of the Gong Revenue AI OS, it enables AI agents to work alongside humans to drive revenue outcomes at enterprise scale while maintaining the trust and control revenue teams require. The Revenue Harness governs how agents plan, execute tasks, and hand off to human teams with the context, guardrails, and oversight that generic AI tools lack.
We introduced Gong Agent Studio last year to give teams a governed environment to configure and run Gong's pre-built agents. We followed that with support for Model Context Protocol (MCP), because great agents don’t work in isolation. Real impact comes from shared context and interoperability. The Gong Revenue Harness is the natural evolution of our investments to date: robust governance, effective orchestration, connected agents, and, for the first time, the ability to build Custom Agents tuned to your specific revenue motions.
Without it, you have smart models. With it, you have a system that executes and delivers revenue outcomes.

Until now, deploying an AI agent in a revenue workflow was an engineering project. Custom Agents change that.
Anyone on your team can describe what they need in plain language, and Gong builds the agent: define the trigger, the data the agent should pull from, what it should produce, and where the output goes. No code. No IT ticket.
- A RevOps leader builds an agent that monitors every account over $100K, flags risk signals, and generates a structured summary within Gong Assistant, ready for the next pipeline review.
- A sales manager builds an agent that surfaces deals that are going dark and pulls every competitor mention from recent calls in a single prompt.
The revenue workflows your team has always needed but never had time to build can now be stood up in minutes, by the people who understand the business best. Every Custom Agent reasons from the Gong Revenue Graph, a decade of actual revenue interactions already mapped to accounts, already structured for how your business operates.
Custom Agents are generally available this month, with new capabilities rolling out over the coming months.
Your revenue AI assistant, always by your side
Revenue teams don't just need agents running in the background. They need AI in the moment, when they're heading into an account review, prepping for a renewal, or trying to quickly understand where a deal stands.
Mission Big Dipper expands Gong Assistant so that intelligence and action are accessible in the flow of work:
- AI Builder in Gong Assistant lets teams go from question to action in a single conversation. Ask what's driving renewal risk, get the answer, then generate the board-ready readout without switching tools or losing context.
- Gong Assistant in Account Console brings conversational AI directly into the account context, so account teams can prepare for meetings, investigate issues, align on upsell strategy, and generate outputs without leaving the flow of work, giving them a more proactive way to manage accounts before risk or opportunity is missed.
- Gong Assistant in a standalone workspace gives revenue teams a dedicated home for analysis and building outputs that go beyond a single account or deal. The workspace introduces new ways to focus the assistant on exactly the conversations that matter, with filters to zero in on a segment, team, or motion, and refine outputs with natural language.
AI Builder in Gong Assistant and Gong Assistant in a standalone workspace are generally available this month. Gong Assistant in Account Console will be generally available in July 2026.
Turn every rep into your best rep
AI agents can handle the work between customer interactions, but revenue performance still depends on how the interaction itself goes. The gap between a rep who walks into a conversation prepared and one who doesn’t will show up directly in win rates.
Mission Big Dipper adds three new capabilities to Gong Enable designed to close the gap between preparation and performance:
- Dry Run lets reps launch a realistic role-play directly from any upcoming meeting. Gong automatically loads real account context, like deal stage, customer persona, conversation history, and more, so the practice mirrors the actual call. No setup. No generic scenarios. Just a rep walking into a meeting they've already had.
- AI Trainer now includes AI Coach, a capability that delivers a personalized feedback conversation after every role-play session. Once a session ends, reps can ask follow-up questions, drill into specific moments, and get concrete guidance before their next attempt without waiting on a manager.
- AI Builder for Scorecards generates complete, coaching-ready scorecards from your top-performing calls in minutes. Enablement teams can build criteria that reflects what actually wins deals, not what someone hoped would win deals, and do it at a fraction of the time it would take manually.
Together, these innovations make rep preparation proactive, coaching continuous, and evaluation consistently grounded in what good actually looks like.
AI Coach (within AI Trainer) and AI Builder for Scorecards are now generally available. Dry Run will be generally available in July 2026.
To infinity and beyond
With Mission Andromeda, revenue teams gained smarter enablement, always-on guidance, and unified account visibility. Mission Big Dipper adds the execution layer that lets teams act on all of it: Custom Agents that run the work automatically, Gong Assistant that closes the gap between insight and output, and Gong Enable that makes every rep as prepared as your best one.
Run your entire revenue engine on one operating system. The Gong Revenue AI OS combines the Gong Revenue Graph (the truth layer), the Gong Revenue Harness (the execution layer), and the shared operating surfaces where humans and agents work together. What your best reps once did manually now happens instantly across every rep, every account, and every cycle.
