AI Summary

It’s time to officially open submissions for the 2026 Golden Gong Awards!

This annual celebration spotlights customers who use the Gong Revenue AI Operating System to rewrite the rules of how a revenue organization achieves measurable, meaningful outcomes. Winners from the 2025 awards included individuals and teams from companies like PayPal, DocuSign, and Sprout Social.

Whether you've transformed how your team forecasts, supercharged productivity with AI-driven workflows, or turned raw customer insights into a strategic edge, we want to hear about it and celebrate it.

    The 2026 award categories

The Gong Awards are given across eight categories, four for teams and four for individual leaders. (Yes, you may enter for more than one category!)

    Golden Gong Awards team categories

    These awards are for:

    • The Transformer: Uses Gong to drive total revenue transformation, like making revenue more predictable, goals more achievable, and technologies more connected.
    • The Bar Raiser: Supercharges revenue productivity, reduces manual work, and spends more time with buyers with Gong's AI-driven automation and guidance.
    • The Strategists: Extracts Gong insights to inform smarter decision-making to turn the unfiltered voice of the customer into business strategy.
    • Revenue Team of the Year: Proves that sales, marketing, and customer success can align perfectly and execute at the highest level.

Golden Gong Awards individual leader categories

We also use these awards to recognize individuals who are using Gong to create significant outcomes.

    • RevOps Leader of the Year: This person uses Gong to better orchestrate their tech stack, increase sales efficiency, and connect marketing, sales, and finance.
    • CRO of the Year: Adapts to shifting markets, drives new initiatives, boosts productivity, and hits targets with Gong as the backbone.
    • Enablement Leader of the Year: Uses Gong to ramp teams faster, coach at scale, and prove the ROI of enablement.
    • CS Leader of the Year: Leverages Gong to retain customers, grow accounts, and make the customer voice central to every decision.

How to write a winning submission

We've read thousands of submissions over the years, so we have a pretty good idea of what makes a good one.

Here's how to make your submission stand out:

    • Tell a story, don’t write a list: Give your submission narrative that starts at the beginning. Include where you were before implementing Gong, what you changed, and where you landed. Include any compelling data points or anecdotes you collected along the way.
    • Make it measurable: If you’re not much of a storyteller, lean into the qualitative outcomes. These stats can powerfully convey the impact an individual or team were able to achieve with Gong. If you can show specifics like a 35% faster ramp time, a 22% lift in win rates, or $4M in recovered pipeline, use those numbers front and center.
    • Show the Gong connection: These are the Golden Gong Awards after all, so be specific about which Gong workflows, features, or data you used. Elaborate beyond phrases like “Gong helped us” and use details to explain exactly how Gong helped make a difference.
    • Keep it tight: The best submissions aren't necessarily the longest. If you sit down to write your submission and find you’ve got multiple stories to share, don’t try to cram them into one entry. Instead, consider splitting them up across more categories, there’s no limit to how many you can submit!
    • Context is everything: Our judges are senior Gong leaders. They know the product but don't know your team or industry. Your submission is your chance to give them enough context to truly appreciate your story.

Ready to submit for the Golden Gong Awards?

If you know a leader or team that embodies one of the categories above, now’s the time to submit them for a Golden Gong Award. The deadline is July 31, and you can submit your award consideration online.

Got questions about the Golden Gong Awards? Email us at customermarketing@gong.io or schedule a submission coaching call with your Gong team. We're here to help you tell your story as powerfully as possible. We can't wait to read about what you've built.
